Alma R. Hakes, CPA is a principal in the Sandusky office of Barnes Wendling CPAs.  Prior to joining Barnes Wendling, Alma co-founded Jenkins, Hakes and Associates, Inc. in 1990.  She has been helping her clients solve their business problems for more than 20 years.  Her clients represent a diversified spectrum of the business community, ranging from medical practices, manufacturing, distribution, retail and construction industries.  She has provided both business and individual clients with creative tax strategies for their overall tax planning as well as on a transaction by transaction basis.  Alma has developed an expertise in retirement plan administration to achieve both business and tax objectives.  Her diverse background provides a broad base of knowledge, lending a mature, sophisticated perspective to her clients.
