Rosie Rehner, CPA
is a director in Barnes Wendling's accounting and assurance services department. One of her responsibilities includes planning,
coordinating, and supervising employee benefit plan audits. Her audit experience in public accounting involves
both private and public company clients. Prior to joining Barnes Wendling, Rosie served as a senior manager in
Ernst & Young LLP's Assurance and Advisory Business Services group. Rosie has a strong understanding of US GAAP
requirements for financial reporting requirements. Her areas of audit specialization include manufacturing,
professional services, distribution, and employee benefit plans. Rosie also has experience in assisting clients
with internal control reviews, including implementation of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. She also has a
solid understanding of information technology internal controls and can assist clients in strengthening their
control environments for both financial and IT related processes. Her background and experience with both large
and mid-size organizations makes her a great resource for best practices in financial reporting and internal
controls. Rosie received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting with a minor in information systems from Notre
Dame College of Ohio.
